Join Opera Modesto at the Mistlin Art Gallery for an afternoon of music inspired by famous works of art: stories of women’s passions, heartaches, souls, and spirits told through art and song.
See Spanish sonnets, torch songs and Cabaret favorites told through both visual and auditory mediums. Experience music that runs the gamut from profound Neruda texts to popular jazz tunes.
Performed by accomplished mezzo soprano, Nikola Printz.

A whirlwind weekend of song, seminars, and sustenance for mind, body and soul.
The weekend will include workshops, seminars, costume parade, Jane Jeopardy and much more. The highlight of the weekend will be the US premiere of the orchestrated version of Jonathan Dove’s opera, Mansfield Park, performed at the historic State Theatre in downtown Modesto.
