Men’s Chorus – Rigoletto, October 2019
An integral part of the story, chorus members are often on stage more than the principal singers. The chorus acts as a witness to the story, a family at a wedding or even a collective character.
Opera Modesto’s chorus is comprised of a dedicated group of community members ages 15 and beyond. Singers of all ages (over 15), backgrounds, and ability are welcome.
While auditions are not required to join the chorus, a meeting with the Chorus Director is often required. The chorus begins rehearsals long before the opera is performed. If interested in joining the chorus, please contact Opera Modesto at 209.523.6426 or info@operamodesto.org.
